I know what you mean about the myHotel…I didn’t stay there, but I visited the bar on the Sunday night and scored an enormous hangover from the lighting the second I walked through the swishy doors. Although, I suspect that the hand dryer in the gents was probably worth more than my house, so it could possibly be a little tweak of jealousy

You talked about synesthesia, and I came to think about the McGurk effect i stumbled over during research.

You probably know it, but if not, here goes: It’s actually not synesthesia, but multimodal integration. The thing about it is, that it shows that what you look at effects what you hear. Take a look at this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFPtc8BVdJk) once and listen. Then close your eyes and listen to it again.

I think its one of the most interesting things, and it show that making visuals to music perhaps also can effect the music we hear.
