Some more images from the Magnetic Ink series. I reworked some of the code to allow me to have more control over the vector influences of the particles. Easiest to notice is an orbital vector that allows the particles to orbit the gravity orbs in an organic manner. This helps to eliminate a lot of the harsh right angles which would appear in the ribbon trails.

More to come.

deer hoof?
Okay, I give. What does that even mean?
BTW, if you put ‘deer hoof’ into the translator widget and set it to German to English, you end up with ‘more deer hoof’. So Im guessing you aren’t German and actually want to know if this is deer hoof?
haha – I meant the top image looks like a deer hoof.
lol at comments!
and great work, as always.. I keep catching myself looking to your work for inspiration, or just to remind myself what processing can do..
keep up the good work
The first time I have seen the Magnetic Ink on Vimeo, I couldn’t believe it’s real. I can’t verbally describe how beautiful it is for me.
I’ve just started with Processing,it’s hard, but your inspiring work is my everyday motivation.
Thanks, keep up the unique artistic approach …
